DUXBURY ROTARY CLUB

Wednesday, May 31, 2017 for the meeting of June 7

Fred reported that $1, 054.00 had been raised in the first week of selling ducks.
He sold fifteen mega ducks last year and might try for eighteen this year. If he reaches this number the prizes might be raised to $300.00 for the business that has the winning duck.  Mega Ducks cost $125.00 for a new purchaser and $100.00 if the duck was used in the previous year.  Fred will be tying up the bag of ducks.  Michelle will be the MC and has some prizes left from last year.  It is hoped that WATD might cover the race.  Fred has posters to distribute.  Bruce R. will get the banner in the Clipper the week before the race and will write an article about it.  Steve is working on getting permission to use the land from the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society.  Karl will help with the Angry Duck launch.  The Duck Waddle will be covered by Michelle?
Steve and Linda, Fred’s wife Diane and their friends Sandi and Mark and Charlie and his friend Brit and Bob J. will be out in the boats retrieving ducks.

George and Cheryl were at the Scholarship Awards to give out the Duxbury Rotary awards.
