We have a President Elect,  “Eileen” (secret name) Sheehan as accepted the nomination to be President of the Duxbury Rotary Club for the year 2015-2016.

The Senior Center is looking for support of their Alzheimer program.  The consensus of the members was to make a contribution from the club.

For consideration, President Fred brought up the subject of morning meetings versus evening meetings, or some combination there of.  George cautioned the club to make a decision on changing meeting times or days of the week very carefully.  He reviewed past history and, with the input of members, looked at some of the pros and cons on how a change would affect members.

Anne read a thank you letter from her husband thanking the club, Fred, Seth, Abdul and Paul for the construction of a ramp into his home.

Eileen has sent out 34 letters to businesses asking for contributions to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans.  She has had four replies, one being from the CEO of Eddie Bauer who contributed a gift of 50 pairs of gloves.
