DIRECTOR’S MEETING REPORT for the Nov. 8.  The Operations Account only has $400.00.  There is very little money to run the club. The dues for a ½ year are $90.00.  Dues should be paid on time.

Karl will send out an invoice to remind members to pay the dues.

The club can no longer carry members who decide after the “Dec. 31” (SECRET DATE) deadline that that they no longer want to be a member.  If you chose to resign, let the club know a month before this date, in writing, by the end of November.

Dues will not be raised, but there will be no more subsidizing of parties such as Charter Night, Lobster bake, or Holiday party.

The club has to have money to function to pay for President Elect training, Leadership Institutes, District Training, dues to Rotary International, dues to the District and services such as ClubRunner.

The club has to be aware that Chief Peter needs a minimum of eight diners to make it worth his while.  If there are fewer members, the club has to pay for the missing members.  PLEASE RESPOND TO FRED’S EMAILS ASKING IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND A MEETING.  If only three members respond, then Peter will not provide a meal that night.   Please RSVP to Fred’s request for a count of who will dine at the meeting.

Paul Harris Fellows, please pay the first $200.00 on the five-year commitment ASAP.

Bob J. is contacting the American Legion about having the next Trivia Night on March 24.
